Our Parent Company

Vecino Verde might seem to be a strange name, but it simply means “Green Neighbor” in Spanish. V.V. was formed in 2011 as a registered 501C3 nonprofit. The idea was birthed after watching numerous gang related killings in our hometown. It was obvious that inner city kids needed a safe place to play other than the streets. We offered free summer camps for predominately inner city kids until the pandemic forced us to shut down operations. But this time was not wasted. We suddenly became involved in numerous situations involving young children.

We had no idea how much abuse and neglect filled our community. It became clear that something needed to be done, which lead us to our next mission called…Camp Greenfeet

Our Program

Camp Greenfeet is a series of youth adventure camps, held at different locations throughout the year. A young boy’s definition of “Adventure” differs radically from that of a young girl’s. For this reason we hold gender specific camps that will strengthen and mold your child for leadership in 21 st Century America.

Here your child will learn about faith, family and fun. As your child progresses with us, they will be challenged by more and more advanced camps.

Our Summer Camp

Since our beginning, we have taught our campers that there is a Good God that supplies our needs. In keeping with this, NO FAMILY has ever paid for their child to attend our camps.

We have always relied on contributions from our friends and neighbors that wish to see America’s Next Generation succeed in life. Won’t you consider donating today? Unlike other organizations, we do not have a paid staff or expansive headquarters, thus allowing your money to go to directly to where it’s needed most….the kids.
